Plastic fibre has long been the insulation of choice in outdoor gear designed for extreme conditions, even over down, the best nature has to offer. Generically known as polyester fibrefill, it has literally kept explorers alive over the years in their assaults of Mount Everest and treks to the North and South poles.

Today, the same intrinsic insulation properties have been improved by Rtica Corporation and harnessed for application in the building industry. The process took years of applied research and development and the granting of several patents to arrive at a product that satisfied the rigors and high performance standards pertinent to construction regulations.

Rtica Corporation is actively engaged in the development, manufacture and distribution of Rbuds, a new brand of thermal and acoustical insulation created for the home and light commercial applications.

The production and composition of Rbuds are unique. Several proprietary processes convert recycled polyester plastic (PET) into a highly efficient insulation that is completely free of skin itch or irritation.

Commercially, Rtica will be available in limited distribution to professional installation contractors in the Eastern United States before the end of 2008. Extension to other regions across North America will follow as production capacity is expanded in the future.

Rtica Corp. is a reporting issuer based in Ontario, Canada. Principal activities include corporate financing, expansion planning, selection of strategic partners, licensing agreement activity, investor relations, and the management of corporate governance, compliance and disclosure in concert with the Board of Directors. As well, Rtica Corp. provides core administrative strengths to its subsidiaries.

Rtica Inc. will be engaged in manufacturing, marketing and selling RTICA® blowing wool insulation. It will also engage in product development, engineering and R&D.
